Co-Located Service allows you to use your own server on our high speed network. You can sell Web hosting or host your own large site using 2interactive's reliable network. 

Simply send 2interactive your server (you must insure it), and we will "plug" your server into a 100 MB/second switched port routed through a Cisco switch.

This section is for those of you who are building your own servers and sending them to us.

Class of Service Billing

Class of service usage allows you to truly have your own dedicated circuit at our facility. You can only burst over the alloted bandwidth for a period of 60 seconds.

Note: A Minimum of $500 setup fee applies to any full DS1 circuit. All other classes of service below 768k require no setup fee. Customer may provide his/her own router, or lease router from us with management. A minimum of a 2 year term agreement applies to any DS1 circuit. A full DS1 comes with full class C of IP addresses (254). More Ip addresses may be purchased, & customer must provide IP Justification form. Customer may call (530)343-6777 to discuss other term agreements.

• If you have not configued your system, we will install RedHat linux 7.1 with qmail for $200 dollars.  You must add $200 dollars to the setup fee.
• If you have not specified the IP addresses we gave you when you installed the OS, we will need to logon to your system to configure this.  This will run an extra $20 dollars. 
• If you use more bandwidth than you paid for, bandwidth is billed for $4.50 dollars per gigabyte.
• Each Additional server will cost $60 dollars per month if you have a 1u or 2u rackmount, or $75.00/month for a standard atx case, and you will need to purchase a hub.

The program works to help make your server as fast as a professional Web hosting company so you can sell Web hosting or host your own large site using 2interactive's reliable hardware and network.

Purchase and install all software and hardware, then send your server (you must insure it) to 2interactive, and we will plug your server into a 10 or 100 MB/second Ethernet connection.

** Additional blocks may be purchased, but only with proof of allocation of all current IP addresses. All software and hardware needed on the server must be purchased and installed before being sent to Us.

NOTE: We do not accept liability or responsibility of any kind. We can provide support starting at $50.00/hour, billed in 1 hour increments.

Recommended Hardware:

Ethernet Card : Realtek 8139 PCI Chipset 10/100 TX

Reason: The Realtek 8139 chipset works well with the linux operating system 6.0 or higher.  Plus, it is a dual speed card allowing us to plug it into a 10TB or a 100TX.
